Susan, a Seminary teacher in West Virginia, created an Old Testament student reading summary. Here's how she explains her summary:
"Since we are not reading the entire Old Testament, and since it seems unexciting to read just a chapter in Exodus or Deuteronomy, I put in the titles of the chapters that the students should read. Then they know what the chapters are about, and it may be easier to “tackle” the chapter. I got the titles from the Student Manual, then made it into a chart for the students. I will give them a one page six-week chart at a time. That way the reading doesn’t seem so overwhelming. ... I used the student study guide, page 6, for my information."
Her reading summary contains the following columns:
Week
Chapters (to read)
Subject of chapters
Done (for students to mark when they have finished reading that chapter)
