"Persecution against the Prophet Joseph Smith and members of the Church of Jesus Christ continued during the summer of 1830. Joseph’s wife Emma was baptized on June 28, but persecution of the members delayed her confirmation until August 1830. In late June, between Emma’s baptism and confirmation, Joseph received the revelation in Doctrine and Covenants 25.
