"Isaiah prophesied that the people of Judah would become weak and would be scattered because of their rejection of the prophets. Isaiah also prophesied about the gathering of Israel in the latter days. During the reign of Hezekiah, king of Judah, the Lord miraculously delivered Jerusalem from the Assyrian army. After messengers from Babylon visited King Hezekiah, Isaiah prophesied that the kingdom of Judah would eventually be conquered by the Babylonians.
