SM activities based on popular board or party games
This is a fun game based on the popular game Cranium. Right now it covers Genesis – Judges, but it could easily be updated as you study the Old Testament.
A fun way to review with your students
Here are some additional clues for the Stocking Unstuffer SM Game above. These should work just great. Of course you can always use these hymn clues in another game.
Use this list for guessing games such as printing these items on labels that you put on people’s backs as they enter a party. They have to ask yes/no questions to others to guess what is on their label. It's a great ice breaker.

Scripture Mastery Bingo
A way to help your students learn their Scripture Mastery. They'll have so much fun that they won't even realize they're learning!
The idea for this game came from some “party” games we’ve played before.
Students roll dice to rack up points once all of their team has found the scripture.
This is a re-make of an old party game.

A game that could best be described as Pictionary using play dough!
Here is a game I called “Mastery Madness” that we played with great success.
I use the Magic Square to teach scripture mastery in my class and Bingo is a great way to encourage kids to learn it and then to reinforce it.
A version of Pictionary
Based on information from the book "Pioneer Trivia, 1000 and One Questions to Try Your Pioneer Savvy," published by Pioneer Pride, Provo UT.
Once the scripture reference is found, the class will chose a number. Students will race to put the numbered item in a square on the floor.
Allow each team the opportunity to solve the Scripture Mastery clue. When they correctly respond, they will have a chance to "Trick or Treat".

Play this game similar to how you would play Battleship. Have fun!
A fun and active game involving scripture chasing and running to chairs for points
Read out the SM clue. First person to find the reference gets to yell out a number between 1 & 100. Read from the list the item listed by the chosen number. Everyone searches for the item.
Instruct the students that they will be given answers to all the questions that will be asked (plus a few answers that are incorrect). When they think they have the right answer, bring it with them and sit in any vacant chair.
