It used to be a tradition in our building to hold Turkey Bowl scripture mastery competition between the 4 classes. The game we used has nothing to do with Thanksgiving so it can be used any time of the year, whenever you’d like to have all the kids get together.
This activity requires some kind of a fake pumpkin, something that can be thrown without risk of harm to the building or the students. At times you can find cloth bean bags or foam pumpkins.
This game is based upon an old TV show. The premise of the show was for one contestant to reach the top of a 70-space board in 15 moves to win one of seven keys that unlocked a dream galaxy of prizes.

Use this list for guessing games such as printing these items on labels that you put on people’s backs as they enter a party. They have to ask yes/no questions to others to guess what is on their label. It's a great ice breaker.
Today I wanted to use the jeopardy game from the website, but I knew the students wouldn’t have any idea where to find the answers in the section, so I gave them some "study time."
I used these questions in conjunction with the fun version of the New Testament Family Feud Game (Alternate Rules) where the whole team gets a chance to score extra points by answering the SM questions with each round.
